Training

Prerequisites

Everyone needing to administer a UQ Drupal website must undertake basic training.

You must have approval from your Unit manager or IT Manager to undertake prior to registering.

The process

  1. Register for a course (Staff login required)
  2. A confirmation email will be sent after registering for the course.
  3. A second email will be sent with a link to the training course and instructions for how to begin.
  4. Once all learning activities are completed, email enterprisetraining@uq.edu.au to request assessment of your sandbox site. A competent/not yet competent assessment is used.
  5. If competency has been demonstrated, Editor access can then be requested for live sites.
    Note: the site owner must approve requests for editing access.

Training courses

These courses will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to effectively create and edit webpages in the UQ Drupal CMS.

Legacy Drupal templates

Support materials for older versions of the Drupal template can found on drupal.uq.edu.au. Training courses are no longer provided for legacy versions. Differences relate to content types, available layouts, styles and components.
