Snippets are short blocks of content that can be displayed on multiple pages but are stored and updated in one place. This allows easy maintenance of commonly repeated messages.

Editing a Snippet will affect all instances of that snippet across the website.

2. Inserting a Snippet

Step 1

  1. Position the cursor where the Snippet is to be inserted.
  2. Click the Insert Snippets button

Step 2

A window opens to select available Snippets.

  1. Click the drop-down to select the desired Snippet
  2. Click insert

The token for the Snippet is inserted within the editor.

Step 3

Save the page.

The Snippet displays with a dotted line border around it when an editor is logged in to identify the contents of the Snippet.

For non-administrative users the Snippet does not show the border.
